Resumo:
In this talk we describe three different real-world problems
arising in telecommunication, energy mangement, and public mass
transportation. All these problems have in common that their modelling
yields very difficult mixed integer programming problems. We show how
these mixed integer programs may be solved and demonstrate their
success and limits in solving practical instances.
