Assignment #4 - Using COCA

For this assignment, you will use COCA to build your own corpus, specific to your area and interest. Your assignment should include a list of terms with their concordances, specific to your area. Try terms/words such as

• research: what are synomyns?
• do research: what are alternatives to these?
• investigation: what verbs go with this?
• carry out: how do these combine with other words?

Explore using the various syntax forms used in COCA and examples listed in "coca_help_guide.pdf"

Your assignment must be submitted as a text file. 

• Name the file as follows: "assignment_4_yourfirstname.txt" (or ".rtf", or ".doc"/".docx" if you use Word), where yourfirstname is indeed your first name. 
• Write the title of the assignment in your file, include your name and date.
